Born out of a love for creating, making & playing with colour, Bead Buddies began in the living room of Hannah's home in beautiful Cape Town. Searching for a hobby that didn't involve technology, beading was an easy, relaxing & therapeutic way to rediscover the creative side of herself that had become buried away after years of corporate life in the city.

After months of beading, what was just a hobby soon became something more... "I would make 2 bracelets every night while watching TV...I had so many I didn't know what to do with them all! It seemed such a shame for this explosion of colour to be hidden away in my craft drawer so I wanted to find a way to spread the fun & the colour further than just my own friendship circle... cue Bead Buddies."

At Bead buddies, fun, colour & friendship are at the heart of each of our designs. By creating, wearing and sharing your Bead Buddies masterpiece, we aim to remind you that fun, colour & friendship have no boundaries....so, all we ask is that you have fun when creating, wear your piece with joy, & share the rainbow of colour with your nearest and dearest far and wide.  Bead by bead, buddy by buddy, we want to paint the world a more colourful place.
